Welcome to Midwifery and Maternity Providers Organisation

The Midwifery and Maternity Providers Organisation (MMPO) was established by the New Zealand College of Midwives in 1997 to assist caseloading (Lead Maternity Carer) midwives by providing an efficient ‘midwifery friendly’ practice management service.

We are now the largest Maternity Providers Organisation in New Zealand, with a membership of over 600 midwives throughout the country. We provide a business start up and advisory service as well as an integrated Maternity Practice Management System (MPMS). We work within NZCOM quality frameworks.

Standardised and comprehensive Maternity Notes
An electronic Maternity Practice Management System
Same day claiming for maternity services from HealthPAC
Disbursement of payments to others as requested (locums and back-up)
Collation of service activities and outcome reports
Business advice and support for Lead Maternity Carers
Support with recruitment, retention and midwifery locum access
