If you are an experienced Midwife who has been out of practise for less than eight years and would like to return to midwifery then our Return to Practice Programme could be exactly what you are looking for. It is a 4-month programme in paid employment and is Midwifery Council approved.

MidCentral Health offers a comprehensive orientation programme with ongoing preceptoring and professional development. We offer a First Year of Practice Programme for newly registered midwives (minimum 0.8 FTE) that include 12 weeks with a preceptor.
